Cabin Trip 2011

We had a fun trip over by Naches, at the Ralston's cabin. The kids loved playin in the woods, making smores, hiking, and playing by the river. We all had a great weekend!

American Girl Doll Photo Shoot

4th of July Fireworks at Ralston's

The acutal 4th of July this year was on a Monday, so we headed down to the Ralston's house for a picnic & some fireworks!

4th of July fun camping at the Sturtevant's place on Lake Kokanee. It was a beautiful sunny weekend, perfect for outdoor fun.

Paige is cold but happy swimming at the lake. The girls had a water balloon fight with the next door neighbors, and Gabby caught her first fish! Not one, but two!

Our Garden

This is our garden now, in July. The zucchinis are HUGE, and dwarfing the poor tomatoes :) We will have zucchini bread this year. We have also had some yummy salads from the lettuce, and Paige loves to pick and eat the snap peas.

Here is our garden in June. The radishes were getting bigger and the girls were on a slug-hunting mission to track down the culprit who was eating the leaves. We tried a small cup of beer, but did not catch any unfortunately!

Sweet Tooth!

Gabby lost her front tooth! When she was getting ready for bed tonight, she pulled it out all by herself! She said it almost went down the bathroom sink drain, but she caught it just in time. She then told us it was a good thing it didn't go down the drain or else the tooth fairy plumber would have had to come. Her tooth is now tucked away under her pillow, waiting for the tooth fairy to visit.

Superbowl 2011

Skiing

Gabby is on mid-winter break this week from school, so we went up to the mountain yesterday to ski. Uncle Jeff stopped and joined us on his way back to Montana. Everyone had a great time at Summit Central. Here are a few pics!

Valentines Day Party

Gabby had her class Valentines Day party today. What a great time! Here are some highlights:

Sunshine!

Its so nice to be out in the sun! It was cold, but very sunny so we went outside to play. It was Paige's first time on the scooter, and she picked it right up. She also put on her helmet (a hand me down from Gabs) with no problems.
